2021-22 (Freshman)

Appeared in 29 games … scored 77 points and collected 53 rebounds … scored a career-high 14 points, shot 83.3 percent from the field and went 2-for-2 from 3-point range, and brought down a career-best five rebounds against FIU on Nov. 18 … dished out two assists against Ohio on Feb. 1 … made a personal-best three 3-pointers against Omaha on Nov. 13 … recorded nine blocks, nine assists, and added six steals.

High School

Jihad, from North Farmington, Michigan, was one of the top prep players in Michigan before his senior season stopped after 11 games … was an all-conference performer and was a candidate for Michigan’s Mr. Basketball Award after leading North Farmington High School to a top-10 ranking in the state … as a senior, Jihad averaged 18 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks per game … averaged 16 points and 10 rebounds per game as a junior in 2019-20 … North Farmington High School went 23-9 with Jihad as a starter under coach Todd Negoshian … his older brother Yusuf plays basketball at Eastern Michigan, is the son of Ayesha Sharpe & Garett Jihad … he is one of seven children.
